Although the notion of privacy isn’t new, privacy in an interconnected, digital world is much more difficult to navigate. When our founders Rob Shavell, Andrew Sudbury, and Eugene Kuznetsov got together in a small office in Cambridge, MA years ago and agreed that this was emerging as a major problem on the web, Abine was born. Because the ways that third parties are collecting people’s information is constantly changing, Abine has evolved to address these challenges for today and tomorrow.
As a leader in privacy, Abine has always brought you privacy tools and products that lead the market. Millions of people have used Abine products to help protect their privacy. Abine is the parent company of DeleteMe, the leading privacy data removal service. We continuously remove unwanted instances of personal data from online sources; making it simple for our customers to keep their personal information from being used, and abused, by others.

Our Team
Rob Shavell
Co-Founder and CEO
Rob, Abine CEO, co-founded Abine alongside Eugene and Andy and previously led Abine’s product and business development. Rob brought Abine’s core products to market, including DoNotTrackMe, which has protected the privacy of over 10 Million consumers and has been featured by hundreds of news outlets, including CNET, the Boston Globe, and the New York Times.
Prior to Abine, Rob was VP Product at Identity Force, an identity theft provider and co-founder of one of the first consumer group travel portals, "TravelTogether.com” and was an associate at Softbank Capital Partners (Boston) and Softbank / Mobius Venture Capital (Silicon Valley). Rob has a BA from Cornell University where he began his studies in the school of Architecture.
Andrew Sudbury
Co-Founder and CTO
Andrew is one of those people that knows a lot about a lot of things, and his combined financial and security expertise helps keep Abine running smoothly. As co-founder and CTO, Andrew manages the company infrastructure and finances and helps develop and bring Abine's products and services to market, and the company has acquired a reputation as a technology leader under his supervision.
Prior to Abine, Andy worked as VP of Security Metrics at Clear Point Metrics, leading the team creating information security metrics and scorecards from concept through the $1M in sales. Previously, while he was employee at @stake, Andrew assessed the security of network storage devices and high-privacy file systems and researched quantitative security modeling. Andrew received an MBA from MIT Sloan and a SB from MIT.
Eugene Kuznetsov
Chairman and Co-Founder
Eugene Kuznetsov, Abine Chairman and co-founder, has earned recognition for both his business and technical leadership, including the prestigious InfoWorld Top 25 CTOs of 2005 and regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 awards. Eugene was most recently an executive at IBM, with responsibility for product management and marketing of SOA appliances. Eugene joined IBM through acquisition of DataPower in October 2005.
Eugene founded DataPower in 1999 and served as President until Spring 2003 as it grew from one to 75 employees, raising over $20M from investors and building a customer list of household names. Kuznetsov's articles have appeared in numerous tech publications, and he has spoken at conferences and events including Digital ID World, NetSec, JavaOne, Networld+Interop, and the IT Security & Privacy Conference. Kuznetsov earned a BSEE from MIT.
William Kerrigan
Executive Advisor
Bill Kerrigan is executive advisor to Abine and formerly Abine’s CEO. Bill’s career includes more than 30 years of distinguished accomplishments, including roles as President and CEO of RadialPoint and as EVP of McAfee’s Worldwide Consumer Business. During Bill’s tenure at McAfee, subscription revenue grew 367% to over $400M while subscriber base expanded from 1.8M to over 23M.
His background also includes other CEO or senior executive roles at Shaman, Corporate Software, and IBM, as well as board membership at leading consumer companies, such as Carbonite. Bill has been personally profiled or provided thought leadership commentary on the privacy and security industries in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal,TechCrunch, ZDNet, the New York Times, and other publications.
