Googlesharing and Nightly Firefox

I just noticed that googlesharing no longer seems to work for nightly builds of firefox (tested x86 GNU/Linux). It might have to do with this firefox change:

http://searchengineland.com/firefox-to- ... ult-116231

Details:
If you manually go to google.com, the GS icon flashes (as expected) and if you type the query "my ip address" on the page google gives you the IP of the GS proxy you're using (good). But if you get to google via a query in the search bar or url bar, or from the "about:home" page then the GS icon does NOT flash and "my ip address" gives my actual IP address. I only see this (worrisome) behavior on Nightly, but couldn't be sure when it broke (but see above). I don't know if this is a fault in firefox or in googlesharing, but perhaps (please!) you can investigate further. Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know about this, KnutbuHyt.
I'll sync with our Googlesharing developers about this tomorrow and I'll let you know what I discover.

Re: Googlesharing and Nightly Firefox

Hey!
Our developers say that yes, this issue you've been seeing is because of what's described in that article. They've actually fixed this already and it will be in the new version of GoogleSharing. Thanks again for catching this and sending to us!
