Abine, the online privacy company is looking for a detail-oriented, organized person to help run our online privacy protection subscription service. Your job will be to search a list of people search websites (sites that list peoples' personal contact information, like WhitePages.com) to find our customers' listings based on the information they provide, populate a report template to show them where they're publicly available online, and remove their listings from these websites. We fight against websites that put individuals' privacy at risk.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Coordinate with other employees on orders
- Manage and organize customer order flow
- Work directly with customers to answer their questions and address their concerns
- Scour the web to find and take screenshots of our customers' publicly-listed contact information, and compile this information in our report template
- Perform opt-out processes to remove our customers from online databases. These opt-outs are through fax, online, phone, and mailing processes. We'll be honest: they're repetitive, so patience is a virtue.
Requirements:
- Used to and comfortable with using internet apps, add-ons, and software.
- Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail. In other words, you're a natural completionist.
- Good with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Google Docs, but you don't need to be a wizard.
- Great search engine skills
- Must be able to identify the right person from a group of others with the same name, based on background information
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of and care about online privacy issues (or at least a willingness to learn).
- The emotional intelligence to understand the types of online information that would concern or interest the average person
To Apply Please Email to jobs@abine.com
- A cover letter (which can be in the text of your email to us)
- Your resume/CV
- Desired hourly pay range in $/hr
- Availability to start
Please note that we will not consider applications that do not include all 4 of the things listed above. All correspondence from recruiters or from people not located in the Boston area will be immediately deleted.
