At Abine our engineering team is creating a suite of online consumer privacy solutions that are well on their way in bettering the privacy of 10s of millions of global users. We are looking for an engineer who is a hands-on full-stack developer, that is as comfortable leading a team of engineers as leading the design of software architecture. Prior experience in the web 2.0 or digital advertising industry is a plus, but not required. Experience with two or more web development technologies LAMP, Ruby on Rails, Drupal plus experience with JavaScript and HTML is required
You'll be working with, and helping lead, a small and talented team and will play a significant role in the creation of a new products and services. We are working with some of the best people in the online security industry who have done things you've heard about.

Senior Systems Architect
At Abine our Operations and Engineering teams are creating a suite of online consumer privacy solutions that leverage the cloud as a development infrastructure and hosting solution. The Senior Systems Architect will be part of the team designing highly available, high performing infrastructure to support our rapid product development team and growing base of worldwide users. The Senior System Architect role presents a unique opportunity to work with a funded MIT startup developing cutting edge software and privacy innovations. The role requires an engineer that can solve strategic system design and process solutions with experience in delivering highly available and highly reliable software services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement architectural innovations to support cutting edge, high performance technology in a highly available IaaS environment

- 4+ years of industry experience

Cloud Operations Engineer

Senior Marketing Analyst
Join the start-up fun in Boston at one of the hottest consumer companies in the city. We're looking for a motivated, ambitious candidate to join our team and help define the next generation of the web so if you're tired of analyzing your business simply by looking at Google analytics and are ready for a more creative challenge, this is the role for you.
As a privacy company, we don't track our users through third party tools like Google so our analysts need to be creative, innovative, and passionate about privacy. Candidates should have a strong background in mathematics or analysis and be comfortable working with Excel and SQL. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, a true innovative problem solver, and has a strong desire to work closely with the team to improve marketing effectiveness, website performance, and the customer experience.
Customer Acquisition/Marketing Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all marketing-related data and reporting as it relates to customer acquisition efforts, repeat/retention metrics.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reporting of performance relative to specific KPIs and goals. Summarize reports with thoughtful analysis and insight to drive decision-making.
- Maintain all campaign tracking as it feeds into reporting and data efforts. In concert with other members of the marketing team, develop and maintain an overall campaign tracking schema and ongoing maintenance of it.

Customer Care Team Lead
We're looking for an emerging customer support leader to join our team and help us drive customer insights to the center of our business. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the customer support team lead will be an integral part of Abine, helping to grow our main products and improve processes. At Abine, the customer support team lead will have a leadership role in two areas of the business:
- Our customer support team responsible for assisting users of Abine products through chat, email and minimal phone support.
- Our DeleteMe operations team responsible for processing all DeleteMe orders.
These functions are performed by the same group of people who are cross-trained to do both tasks. The customer support team lead will also be cross-trained across both functions.
The lead of both functions is a great opportunity for an ambitious customer care or operations leader seeking to work in an early stage organization to build out the customer support function. We seek someone with management experience who is operationally minded and excited by the opportunity to work on the front lines of growing customer relationships and leading customer insights.
Job:
- Manage team of 5-10 customer care reps and DeleteMe operators
- Lead all hiring and training of new team members
- Manage and publish staffing
- Learn technical products and be comfortable working one on one with developers and product managers
- Learn existing tools and processes and assess for quality
- Lead organization to excel in customer care both in quality and function
- Handle customer support escalation issues

Customer Care Associate
Abine, Inc. is looking for looking for smart, hard working, talented people to contribute to our innovative tech start-up as DeleteMe Operators & Customer Care Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming online orders, searching and removing our subscribers from databroker websites
- Provide customer service and support to subscribers and inquiries by handling issues and answering questions by email, phone and online chat
- Provide timely follow-up and resolution to subscriber issues according to Abine policies; escalate non-routine issues
- Assist/educate new subscribers and inquirers regarding Abine policies and procedures
- May specialize in specific area of operation or handle more complex issues
- Become familiar with important privacy topics particularly in relation to data brokers
- Perform office management duties as needed
- May assist other departments as needed
- Liaise with Operations/Customer Care Management to discuss problems, identify trends and share solutions
Qualifications:
- Tech savvy - able to quickly ramp up learning the ins and outs of Abine software, so you can confidently troubleshoot technical issues for subscribers
